Making Lemonade

Juicing the Lemons
Cut the lemons in half and juice them until you have about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice. Strain the juice to remove seeds and pulp.

Mixing Lemonade
In a pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice with 1 cup of granulated sugar. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Adding Water
Add 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher and stir until well mixed. Taste and adjust with more sugar if desired.
Making Iced Tea

Boiling Water
In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

Steeping Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Let the tea steep for about 5 minutes.

Sweetening Tea
After steeping, remove the tea bags and stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar until dissolved. Allow the tea to cool.

Chilling Tea
Once cooled, pour the tea into a pitcher and add 2 cups of ice cubes. Stir to chill further.
