Preparation of Escargots

1. Prepare the Puff Pastry

Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut into squares large enough to wrap each escargot.

2. Fill with Ham and Escargots

Place a small amount of chopped ham and one escargot in the center of each pastry square. Fold the corners over the filling to enclose it.

3. Egg Wash

Brush the tops of the pastry with the beaten egg to give a golden finish.

4. Bake

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and bake the wrapped escargots for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Sweet Garlic Butter Sauce

5. Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

6. Sauté Garlic

Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

7. Add Honey and Seasonings

Stir in honey, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Let simmer for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
