Method
Beer Cheese Dip
- 1
Prepare the Cheese Base
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well blended and smooth.
- 2
Add Beer and Seasonings
Gradually add the beer while mixing. Then, add garlic powder, onion powder, mustard, salt, black pepper, and hot sauce. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- 3
Heat the Mixture
Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and heat over medium-low heat. Stir frequently until the cheese is melted and the dip is warm, about 5-7 minutes.
- 4
Serve
Once the beer cheese dip is heated through, remove from heat and serve warm with tortilla chips or bread.
Salsa
- 5
Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine diced tomatoes, diced onion, diced bell pepper, chopped cilantro, minced jalapeño, lime juice, and salt. Mix well.
- 6
Chill the Salsa
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow the salsa to chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- 7
Serve
Serve the salsa chilled alongside the warm beer cheese dip with tortilla chips.
