Method

Chicken Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, mix the buttermilk with salt and black pepper. Submerge the chicken breasts in the buttermilk mixture and let them marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.

  2. 2

    Prepare for Frying

In a shallow dish, place the all-purpose flour. Beat the eggs in another bowl. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk, letting any excess drip off, then coat each piece in flour, dip in the egg, and coat again in flour.

  3. 3

    Fry the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the coated chicken breasts and fry for about 5-7 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Garlic Mash Preparation

  1. 4

    Cook the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into chunks. Place them in a large pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 5

    Add Garlic

In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the garlic cloves to the pot with the potatoes.

  3. 6

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and garlic, then return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Thin Beans Preparation

  1. 7

    Cook the Green Beans

Trim the ends of the green beans and rinse them under cold water. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the green beans, salt, and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender yet crisp.

Honey-Rosemary Glaze Preparation

  1. 8

    Prepare the Glaze

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the Mississippi honey, fresh rosemary, apple cider vinegar, and salt. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
