Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth and well combined.

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture, stirring until just combined.

Add Chocolate Chips and Walnuts
Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar is dissolved.

Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.

Churn Ice Cream
Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
