Wash and Chop Lettuce
Thoroughly wash the romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt. Shake off excess water and then chop into bite-sized pieces.

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a small bowl, mix together minced garlic and olive oil. Cut the bread into cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl. Pour the garlic oil mixture over the bread cubes, then sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Toss well to coat.
