In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, shiitake mushrooms, grated carrot, green onions, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and ground white pepper. Mix well until combined.

Prepare the Dumpling Filling

Take a wonton wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center. Gather the edges of the wrapper and gently pinch them together to form a cup shape, leaving the top open.

Assemble Shumai

Prepare a steamer by lining it with parchment paper or cabbage leaves to prevent sticking. Place the dumplings in the steamer, ensuring they are not touching. Steam over boiling water for about 10-12 minutes, or until the shrimp is cooked through.

Serve the steamed shumai hot with mustard or your preferred dipping sauce.

Slice the mozzarella cheese into thin strips. Chop the scallions into 2-inch pieces.

Prepare the Ingredients

In a bowl, mix the olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Add the beef strips and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Marinate the Beef

Take a beef strip, place a piece of mozzarella and a piece of scallion at one end, and roll tightly. Secure with a toothpick if necessary.

Assemble the Negima

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the rolled beef for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the beef is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
