Ingredients for French Toast de Natas
Method
Directions for French Toast de Natas
- 1
Prepare the Egg Batter
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sugar until well combined.
- 2
Soak the Brioche
Dip each slice of brioche bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are thoroughly coated. Allow excess batter to drip off.
- 3
Cook the French Toast
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the soaked brioche slices and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- 4
Brûlée the Sugar
Once cooked, place the French toast on a baking sheet. Sprinkle a layer of granulated sugar on top of each slice. Using a kitchen torch, carefully brûlée the sugar until it caramelizes and forms a crispy layer.
- 5
Serve
Serve warm, optionally with fresh fruit or syrup, and enjoy your French Toast de Natas!
