Aromatics and Seasoning

Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Once boiling, add a pinch of salt and add the pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Drain the Pasta

Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside. Do not rinse.

Preparing Vegetables

  1. 3

    Chop the Vegetables

While the pasta is cooking, chop the bell pepper, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, carrot, and broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 5

    Add Vegetables

Add the chopped bell pepper, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, carrot, and broccoli to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

  4. 6

    Season the Vegetables

Season the vegetables with salt and black pepper to taste.

Combining Pasta and Vegetables

  1. 7

    Mix Pasta and Vegetables

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss everything together to combine well.

  2. 8

    Add Parmesan

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta and vegetables, and toss again until the cheese is melted and everything is well coated.

Serving

  1. 9

    Serve

Serve the Pasta Primavera hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
