Baking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. 3

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla extract until fluffy. Gradually add to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Pour in the milk and mix until smooth.

  4. 4

    Bake the Cake

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  5. 5

    Prepare Milk Mixture

In a separate bowl, combine the condensed milk, evaporated milk, and remaining whole milk.

  6. 6

    Soak the Cake

Once the cake is baked and cooled, poke holes all over the top with a fork. Pour the milk mixture evenly over the cake, allowing it to soak in.

  7. 7

    Add Toppings

Spread the diced peaches and chopped pecans over the top of the cake.

  8. 8

    Chill and Serve

Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours before serving. Enjoy your Tres Leches Cake!
