Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brisket

Trim excess fat from the brisket and cut it into 1-inch cubes. Season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and brown sugar. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

  2. 2

    Smoke the Brisket

Preheat your smoker to 250°F (120°C). Place the seasoned brisket cubes on the smoker grates and smoke for about 4 hours, or until they reach an internal temperature of 190°F (88°C).

  3. 3

    Prepare the Sauce

In a bowl, mix the BBQ sauce and apple cider vinegar together until well combined.

  4. 4

    Glaze and Finish

Remove the smoked brisket from the smoker and toss the cubes in the BBQ sauce mixture. Return them to the smoker and continue cooking for another 1-2 hours, or until they become tender and caramelized.

  5. 5

    Serve

Once done, remove the burnt ends from the smoker and let them rest for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy them warm with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
