Method
Crab Dip Preparation
- 1
Mix the Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, cooked crab meat, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, hot sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- 2
Transfer and Bake
Transfer the mixture into a baking dish. Smooth the top with a spatula and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
Tortilla Chips Preparation
- 3
Cut and Fry Tortillas
Cut each corn tortilla into wedges. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the tortilla wedges in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch.
- 4
Drain and Season
Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried tortilla chips and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with salt while still warm.
Warm Bread Preparation
- 5
Prepare the Baguette
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the French baguette into diagonal pieces.
- 6
Butter and Bake
Spread butter on each slice and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the bread is warm and slightly toasted.
