Salad Preparation
1. Prepare the Croutons
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the focaccia bread into bite-sized cubes. In a bowl, toss the bread cubes with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Spread them out on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy. Let cool.
2. Make the Dressing
In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
3. Assemble the Salad
In a large bowl, chop the Romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Add the croutons and drizzle with the dressing. Toss well to combine.
4. Serve
Plate the salad and shave Grana Padano cheese over the top. Serve immediately.
