Preparation

Brew the Espresso
Using an espresso machine, brew a single shot of espresso. Pour it into a glass and set aside.

Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of walnut bitters to the brewed espresso. Stir gently to combine the flavors.

Prepare the Glass
Fill a separate tall glass with ice cubes, approximately one cup.

Combine with Tonic
Pour 4 oz of tonic water over the ice in the tall glass.

Finish the Drink
Carefully pour the espresso mixture over the tonic water and ice. Avoid stirring to maintain the layered effect.

Garnish
Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
