Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the fruits

Juice the fresh orange and fresh lime into a small bowl. Remove any seeds from the juice. Set aside the juice.

  2. 2

    Prepare the pomegranate

If using a whole pomegranate, cut it in half and use a spoon to gently tap the outside to release the seeds into a bowl. Measure out 1 cup of pomegranate seeds.

Mixing the cocktail

  1. 3

    Combine ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, combine the fresh orange juice, fresh lime juice, and pomegranate seeds. Add the Drysecco.

  2. 4

    Shake it up

Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15 seconds to combine the flavors and chill the mixture.

  3. 5

    Strain and serve

Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass, ensuring that the pomegranate seeds do not enter the glass.

Garnishing

  1. 6

    Garnish the drink

Optionally, garnish the cocktail with a slice of fresh orange or a twist of lime peel for a decorative touch.
