Top & Garnish
Method
Prep
- 1
- 2
Juice fresh lemons and limes so juices measure accurately. Lightly clap the mint leaves between your palms to release aroma.
Build & Shake
- 3
Muddle
In a cocktail shaker, add the fresh mint leaves and the simple syrup. Gently muddle 4–5 of the mint leaves just enough to bruise them and release aromatic oils — avoid pulverizing to prevent bitterness.
- 4
Add Spirits & Citrus
Add 2 oz Tito's vodka, 0.5 oz Dolin Blanc, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice and 0.25 oz fresh lime juice to the shaker.
- 5
Shake
Fill the shaker with ice, cap it, and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled (shaker will frost).
Strain & Finish
- 6
Double Strain
Discard ice or water from your chilled serving glass. Double-strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass using a Hawthorne and fine strainer (or a julep strainer and a small mesh) to remove mint bits and ice shards.
- 7
Top with Prosecco
Gently top the cocktail with 2 oz chilled Prosecco. Pour slowly down the side of the glass to preserve effervescence and create a light froth on top.
- 8
Garnish & Serve
Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and a lemon wheel placed on the rim or floated. Optionally clap the mint briefly over the drink to express aroma before placing it. Serve immediately.
