Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Season the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel, then season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  3. 3

    Cook the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes without moving them, until the skin is crispy. Flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.

Cooking the Vegetables

  1. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the salmon is cooking, trim the asparagus and cut the zucchini into half-moon slices. Mince the garlic cloves.

  2. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet after removing the salmon, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the asparagus, zucchini, and minced garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

  3. 6

    Add Cherry Tomatoes

Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for an additional 2 minutes until they are slightly blistered.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Serve the pan-seared salmon on a plate alongside the sautéed seasonal vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
