Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Brussels Sprouts

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water and trim the ends. Cut each sprout in half lengthwise.

  2. 2

    Cook Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from the skillet and let it drain on paper towels. Once cooled, chop into small pieces.

Roasting

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated.

  2. 4

    Roast Brussels Sprouts

Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and tender, stirring halfway through.

Finishing Touches

  1. 5

    Add Bacon and Glaze

Once the Brussels sprouts are roasted, remove them from the oven. Sprinkle the chopped bacon over the top and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Toss to combine.

  2. 6

    Serve

Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving platter and enjoy hot.
