Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lettuce

Cut the iceberg lettuce in half from top to bottom, then cut each half into wedges. Rinse under cold water and pat dry.

  2. 2

  3. 3

    Slice the Onion

Thinly slice the red onion and set aside.

Cooking the Bacon

    Mix the Dressing

In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, crumbled blue cheese, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until smooth and creamy.

    Assemble the Wedge Salad

On each plate, place a wedge of iceberg lettuce. Top with heirloom tomato wedges, sliced red onion, crumbled bacon, and additional crumbled blue cheese.

  2. 7

    Add the Dressing

Drizzle the blue cheese dressing generously over each wedge salad. Garnish with chopped chives.
