In a large brew kettle, combine the pale malt, caramel malt, and Munich malt with 6 liters of hot water. Heat the mixture to 152°F (67°C) and hold for 60 minutes.

Mashing

After mashing, separate the liquid wort from the grains by transferring the mixture to a lauter tun. Rinse the grains with additional hot water to collect all the sugars.

Lautering

Bring the wort to a boil and add the Citra hops. Boil for 60 minutes, adding the Simcoe, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops in the last 15 minutes.

Boiling

After boiling, cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller or an ice bath until it reaches around 70°F (21°C).

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel and pitch the American Ale yeast. Seal the vessel and allow it to ferment for 1-2 weeks at room temperature.

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, dissolve the priming sugar in a small amount of water, then mix it into the beer. Bottle the beer in sanitized bottles and cap them.

Bottling

Let the bottles condition at room temperature for another 1-2 weeks before refrigerating. Enjoy your High Park 'Rings of Saturn' IPA!
