Brewing the Tea
- 1
Boil the Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

Steep the Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Let the tea steep for about 5-7 minutes depending on your desired strength.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags from the pot. Discard the bags.
Sweetening the Tea (optional)

If you desire sweet tea, add 1 cup of granulated sugar, 0.5 cups of honey, or 1 tsp of stevia at this stage. Stir until fully dissolved. Adjust sweetness to your preference.
Cooling and Serving

Allow the tea to cool at room temperature for about 20-30 minutes, or refrigerate to speed up the cooling process.
