Hummus Preparation

1. Drain and Rinse Chickpeas

Open the can of chickpeas, drain the liquid, and rinse the chickpeas under cold water. Set aside.

2. Blend Ingredients

In a food processor, combine the drained chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic clove, ground cumin, and salt. Blend until smooth.

3. Adjust Consistency

If the hummus is too thick, add water one tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.

4. Taste and Season

Taste the hummus and adjust seasoning, adding more salt or lemon juice as needed.

5. Serve

Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle paprika on top.
