Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Chop Cucumber

Slice the cucumber into thin rounds. Reserve a few slices for garnish.

  2. 2

    Muddle Herbs

In a large pitcher, add the fresh mint and basil leaves. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently crush the leaves to release their essential oils.

Mixing the Drink

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Add the sliced cucumber, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and gin to the pitcher with the muddled herbs. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

  2. 4

    Add Tonic Water

Slowly pour in the tonic water, stirring gently to mix without losing carbonation.

Serving

  1. 5

    Prepare Glasses

Fill each glass with ice cubes and pour the herbal gin mixture over the ice, making sure to distribute the cucumber slices evenly.

  2. 6

    Garnish

Top each glass with a lemon slice and a cucumber slice for garnish. Optionally, you can add extra mint or basil leaves for decoration.
