Method
Preparation of Chicken Wings
- 1
Prepare the Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Season the Wings
In a bowl, combine the dried oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, thyme, and paprika to make the Greek seasoning. Rub this mixture evenly over the chicken wings.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
Cooking the Wings
- 4
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the seasoned chicken wings to the hot oil and fry for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 5
Add Lemon Juice
Once cooked, remove the wings from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the wings while they are still hot.
Making the Granch Dressing
- 6
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, minced garlic, chopped chives, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- 7
Mix Well
Stir the mixture until all ingredients are well combined and smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
