Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the Romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess moisture. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
- 2
Chop the Roma Tomatoes
Wash the Roma tomatoes and cut them into quarters. Remove the seeds if desired for less moisture.
- 3
Slice the Cucumber
Wash the cucumber and slice it into thin rounds. You may peel it if you prefer a less bitter taste.
- 4
Slice the Red Onion
Peel the red onion and slice it thinly. If the flavor is too strong, soak the slices in cold water for about 10 minutes, then drain.
Assembly
- 5
Combine the Salad Ingredients
In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped Romaine lettuce, quartered Roma tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and sliced red onion.
- 6
Add Toppings
Crumble the feta cheese over the salad and add the Kalamata olives on top.
- 7
Dress the Salad
Drizzle the Greek vinaigrette over the salad. Toss gently to combine all the ingredients, ensuring the dressing evenly coats the salad.
Serving
- 8
Serve
Serve the Greek salad immediately, garnished with additional feta cheese or olives if desired. Enjoy!
