Method

Kebab Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix the Meat Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

  2. 2

    Shape the Kebabs

Divide the meat mixture into equal portions and shape each portion around a wooden skewer, forming a long kebab. Ensure the meat is tightly packed to prevent it from falling apart during cooking.

  3. 3

    Marinate the Kebabs

Brush the shaped kebabs with olive oil to add flavor and moisture. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator to enhance the flavors.

Cooking Instructions

  1. 4

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat (about 180-200°C / 350-400°F). Make sure the grill grates are clean.

  2. 5

    Grill the Kebabs

Place the marinated kebabs on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is fully cooked and has nice grill marks. The internal temperature should reach at least 70°C (160°F).

  3. 6

    Prepare the Platter

Once cooked, remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve on a platter alongside pita bread, hummus, tzatziki sauce, mixed salad greens, and lemon wedges.
