Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the bife de chorizo steaks out of the refrigerator and let them rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. This ensures even cooking.

  2. 2

    Marinate

In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture generously over both sides of the steaks.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F or 232°C). Make sure the grill grates are clean and well-oiled to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Grill the Steaks

Place the marinated steaks on the grill. Cook for 5-7 minutes on one side without moving them to develop a good sear.

  3. 5

    Flip and Finish Cooking

Flip the steaks and continue grilling for another 5-7 minutes for medium-rare, depending on the thickness of the steak and your desired doneness.

Serving

  1. 6

    Rest the Steaks

Once cooked to your liking, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve the bife de chorizo with fresh parsley and lemon wedges on the side for garnish. Enjoy with your favorite sides!
