Tiramisu Base

Prepare the Flavored Syrup

    In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.

    Remove from heat and stir in coffee liqueur and vanilla extract. Let the syrup cool to room temperature.

Prepare the Tiramisu Base

    Brew a strong cup of espresso and let it cool slightly.

    In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and fluffy.

    Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the flavored syrup, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

    In a serving dish, layer half of the soaked ladyfingers, followed by half of the mascarpone mixture. Repeat the layers.
