Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Baking Pan
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- 2
Melt the Butter
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- 3
Mix the Sugar and Eggs
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Stir until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
- 4
Combine Dry Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt until well combined.
- 5
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
- 6
Add Nutella
Spoon half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan. Then, drop dollops of Nutella over the brownie batter. Use a knife or a toothpick to swirl the Nutella into the batter. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the top and again swirl with more Nutella.
- 7
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 8
Cool and Serve
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.
