Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Veal
Season the veal cutlets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of bread crumbs and grated parmesan cheese.
- 3
Bread the Cutlets
Dredge each veal cutlet in flour, shaking off excess, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the bread crumb and parmesan mixture.
- 4
Fry the Cutlets
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry the breaded cutlets for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Assemble the Dish
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the fried veal cutlets on a baking sheet. Spoon marinara sauce over each cutlet and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- 6
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 7
Serve
Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
