In a medium bowl, mix together the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce (if using). Season with salt to taste. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Prepare the Cocktail Sauce

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the jumbo shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque. Drain and transfer to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Let cool completely.

Cook the Shrimp

Arrange the cooled shrimp on a platter and serve with the chilled cocktail sauce and lemon wedges on the side.
