Tenders Preparation

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, mix together the mashed chickpeas, ground oats, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form Tenders

Shape the mixture into tenders and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook Tenders

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the tenders for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

House Marinara Preparation

  1. 4

    Sauté Vegetables

In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until translucent.

  2. 5

    Add Tomatoes and Seasonings

Stir in crushed tomatoes, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

    Prepare Hoagies

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the hoagie rolls open and place them on a baking sheet.

  2. 7

Place the cooked tenders in each hoagie roll, spoon over the house marinara, and top with Halo Mozz.

  3. 8

    Melt Cheese

Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

  4. 9

    Serve

Sprinkle with dairy-free parmesan and serve immediately.
