Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ice Cream Balls

Scoop out 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream and roll it into a ball. Repeat until you have 8 ice cream balls. Place them on a baking sheet and freeze for at least 2 hours.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Coating

In a large bowl, crush the cornflakes into small pieces and mix in the ground cinnamon. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Batter

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, and milk until smooth to create a batter.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  5. 5

Coat and Fry the Ice Cream Balls

Take the frozen ice cream balls out of the freezer. Dip each ball into the batter, then roll in the cornflake mixture to coat. Carefully place the coated ice cream balls into the hot oil and fry for about 30 seconds or until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately topped with sliced strawberries, your choice of sauces, and a dollop of whipped cream.
