Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge each breast in flour, dip them in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan cheese.
- 2
Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
- 3
Add Sauce and Cheese
Pour marinara sauce over the chicken breasts, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 4
Cook the Pasta
While the chicken is baking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add your choice of spaghetti, penne, or linguini, and cook according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- 5
Serve
Once the chicken is ready, serve it alongside the cooked pasta. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
