Method
Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Cauliflower
Preheat the oil in a deep fryer or a large pot over medium-high heat. Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
- 2
Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt. Gradually add water to form a smooth batter.
- 3
Coat the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring they are well coated. Let excess batter drip off.
- 4
Fry the Cauliflower
Carefully place the battered cauliflower florets into the hot oil, frying in batches for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Toss in Buffalo Sauce
In a large bowl, toss the fried cauliflower bites in buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
- 6
Serve
Serve hot with vegan ranch or buttermilk ranch on the side for dipping.
