Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Burger Patties

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef and Cajun seasoning. Form the mixture into two equal patties, about 1/2 lb each, and make a slight indentation in the center of each patty.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of bleu jack cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Brioche Rolls

While the patties are cooking, toast the brioche rolls on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted brioche roll, layer the mixed greens, followed by the cooked burger patty with melted cheese, red onion slices, fresh tomato slices, and drizzle with buffalo bleu cheese dressing. Top with the other half of the brioche roll.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the blackened bleu jack burger immediately with your choice of sides.
