Method

Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brownie Mixture

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan. In a medium saucepan, melt the unsweetened chocolate and butter over low heat. Stir until smooth and completely melted.

  2. 2

    Mix in Sugars and Eggs

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  3. 3

    Add Dry Ingredients

Sift in the flour and salt, then fold the mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. Gently fold in chocolate chips.

  4. 4

    Bake the Brownies

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  5. 5

    Cool and Cut

Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, cut them into squares or rectangles that are suitable for pops.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Loco Pops

Insert popsicle sticks into the center of each brownie piece. You can also dip the brownies in melted chocolate if desired, and then sprinkle with sprinkles for decoration.

  7. 7

    Freeze

Place the assembled brownie pops in the freezer for at least 1-2 hours to firm them up before serving.
