- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- 3
Cream Butter and Sugars
In a large mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until creamy and light in color.
- 4

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- 6
Fold in Chocolate Chips
Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- 7
Scoop and Bake
Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. The centers may look underbaked; they will continue to cook while cooling.
