Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salad Base

Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Dry it using a salad spinner or pat it with paper towels. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Prepare Watermelon Radish

Peel the watermelon radish and slice it thinly using a mandoline or sharp knife. Add the radish slices to the salad bowl with the romaine.

  3. 3

    Add Cherry Tomatoes

Rinse the cherry tomatoes under cold water. Cut them in half and add them to the salad bowl.

  4. 4

    Add Croutons and Parmesan

Sprinkle the croutons and grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the salad ingredients in the bowl.

  5. 5

    Add Protein

If using grilled chicken, tofu, or shrimp, slice or chop the protein into bite-sized pieces and add it to the salad bowl.

Dressing Preparation

  1. 6

    Mix the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the miso paste, minced garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and olive oil until smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  2. 7

    Combine Salad and Dressing

Drizzle the miso Caesar dressing over the salad mixture in the bowl. Toss gently to combine all ingredients, ensuring that everything is evenly coated with the dressing.
