In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.

Preheat Waffle Iron
Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Once the waffle iron is ready, pour half of the batter onto the center of the waffle iron. Close the lid and cook according to the manufacturer's guidelines until golden brown.
