Cauliflower Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Cauliflower
Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cut it into bite-sized florets.
- 2
Make the Batter
In a large bowl, mix together all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and water until smooth.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Coat the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing any excess to drip off.
- 5
Fry the Cauliflower
Carefully place the battered cauliflower florets into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Gochujang Sauce Preparation
- 6
Combine Ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together the gochujang, honey, lime juice, and sesame oil until well combined.
Assembly and Garnish
- 7
Toss Cauliflower in Sauce
In a large mixing bowl, combine the fried cauliflower with the gochujang sauce, tossing gently to coat all the florets.
- 8
Garnish
Transfer the sauced cauliflower to a serving platter and sprinkle with chopped cilantro and sesame seeds.
