Brewing the Tea

Boil Water
In a kettle, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat. Add 2 teaspoons of your chosen tea leaves or tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 3-5 minutes depending on your desired strength.

Strain and Serve
If using loose tea leaves, strain the tea into a teapot or directly into cups. If using tea bags, simply remove the bags.
Adding Flavorings

Sweeten to Taste
If desired, add 1 tablespoon of honey to sweeten your tea. Stir well until dissolved.

Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice for a citrusy kick, or 2 tablespoons of milk or cream for a creamier texture. You can also sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of cinnamon or 1 teaspoon of ginger for added warmth and spice.
