Brisket Preparation

Rub the brisket with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and brown sugar. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

Remove the brisket from the smoker and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
Asian Slaw Preparation

Prepare the Slaw
In a large bowl, combine shredded green cabbage, grated carrots, chopped cilantro, and sliced green onions.

Make the Dressing
In a small bowl, whisk together sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

Pour the dressing over the slaw and toss until well coated. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
