Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- 2
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- 3
Cream Butter and Sugar
In a large mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- 5
Combine Mixtures

Bake the Cake
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cool the Cake
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Chill and Serve
Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours before serving for the best flavor.
