Fish Marinade

Method

Preparing the Fish

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a bowl, combine the lime juice, olive oil, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the white fish fillets and coat them well. Let the fish marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

  2. 2

    Cook the Fish

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the fish from the marinade and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before flaking it into bite-sized pieces.

Assembling the Tacos

  1. 3

    Warm the Tortillas

In a dry skillet, warm the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable and slightly charred.

  2. 4

    Build the Tacos

On each tortilla, add a generous portion of the flaked fish, followed by shredded cabbage, chopped cilantro, sliced red onion, and avocado. Top with sour cream or Greek yogurt and drizzle with hot sauce according to your taste.

  3. 5

    Serve

Serve the tacos immediately while warm, garnished with additional lime wedges if desired.
