Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the radiatori pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Add Squid Ink

Once the pasta is drained, return it to the pot and mix in the squid ink until evenly coated. Set aside while you prepare the sauce.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 3

    Sauté Garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

  2. 4

    Cook Tomatoes

Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet along with the red chili flakes. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the tomatoes start to soften and release their juices.

  3. 5

    Combine with Pasta

Add the squid ink coated pasta to the skillet with the tomato mixture. Toss gently to combine, ensuring the pasta is well-coated with the sauce.

  4. 6

    Season

Add chopped fresh basil, salt, and black pepper to taste. Toss again to mix everything thoroughly.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Serve the squid ink radiatori in bowls. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves before serving.
