Sorbet Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Apples

Core and chop the green apples into small pieces. Place them in a saucepan.

  2. 2

    Cook the Apples

Add water and sugar to the saucepan with the chopped apples. Cook over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes, or until the apples are soft.

  3. 3

    Blend the Mixture

Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly. Then blend it until smooth. Add lemon juice and salt, and blend again.

  4. 4

    Chill the Mixture

Refrigerate the blended apple mixture for about 1 hour until it is completely chilled.

  5. 5

    Freeze the Sorbet

Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Once churned, transfer to a container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
