Method

Cumin Rolls

1

Prepare the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast over the top and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.

2

Mix Ingredients

Add the all-purpose flour, ground cumin, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.

3

Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

4

Let the Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

5

Shape the Rolls

After rising, punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a roll and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

6

Prepare for Baking

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the rolls.

7

Bake the Rolls

Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.

10
