Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cheese

Remove the Cow's Milk, Soft Ripened Triple Cream Cheese from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to soften.

  2. 2

    Chop the Dates

While the cheese is softening, take the pitted dates and chop them into small pieces. This will help them blend well with the cheese.

Assembly

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened triple cream cheese with the chopped dates. Gently fold the ingredients together until well incorporated.

  2. 4

    Add Garnish

Sprinkle the fresh thyme leaves over the mixture and drizzle with honey. Lightly mix to distribute the garnish evenly throughout the cheese and dates.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate the Dish

Scoop the mixture onto a serving plate or cheese board, shaping it into a small mound. Optionally, drizzle extra honey on top for added sweetness.

  2. 6

    Serve

Serve the Délice de Bourgogne with crackers, toasted bread, or fresh fruits as accompaniments.
