Chill the Glass
Begin by chilling a cocktail glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the drink.

In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour 2 oz of Cynar, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters. Stir well for about 30 seconds until the mixture is well chilled.

Discard the ice water from the chilled cocktail glass. Using a strainer, pour the mixed ingredients into the glass.
